Rethos is hosting its very first Buildings on Main Street Conference this Spring in Faribault, MN! The Buildings on Main Street Conference ​is an opportunity for Minnesota Main Street districts and communities interested in revitalizing their aging downtown buildings to obtain tools, knowledge, and resources to help their communities flourish. This conference is geared towards Minnesota Main Street staff, board, and volunteers; Heritage Preservation Commissioners; city staff; building owners; and anyone interested in downtown revitalization! No matter how big or small your community is, the Buildings on Main Street Conference is for you! This two-day event will offer several unique and fascinating sessions, including:

• Demystifying Building Inspection
• Real Estate Finance Basics
• Maintenance Planning
• Historic Building Basics
• Why Old is Green: Sustainability in Old Buildings
• Main Street Essentials
• And more!

Some sessions will be geared towards communities that are in the early stages of downtown development, while other sessions will advance the skills of those that are already deeply immersed in building  revitalization. All sessions and keynotes will be hosted in beautiful historic Faribault buildings on Thursday and Friday, but Rethos and Faribault Main Street would love for you to join us on Wednesday evening for some exciting networking and fun local activites! Space will be limited, so register while you can!

Rethos will host our Main Street Basics Training as a conference session on April 22nd at 8:30am - 11:30am. Tickets exclusively for the Main Street Basics Training are available for purchase, as well.

Masks will be required indoors at all times.

Refund policy: If you would like to request a refund on your purchased ticket for this conference, please email kelly@rethos.org. Rethos can arrange to refund the cost of your purchased ticket. Refunds are provided up to seven days prior to the conference.
