About the Event
If you live in an older Minnesota house, energy usage might be a top concern for you. Big projects like insulation or new equipment installation can be expensive and require planning. As a homeowner, how do you decide which project to tackle first? Join experts from the Center for Energy and Environment for this informational session about planning for large-scale weatherization projects. Speakers will discuss the importance of an energy audit and will share how the audit’s report can help you prioritize your projects and help you budget for upgrades.
You will learn about:
- The value of an energy audit and how its results can help you plan for home projects
- Insulation and air-sealing older homes: considerations, costs, timelines, and expected results
- How best to fit weatherization projects into your home rehab budget
