Rehab Lab: Re-Roping Double Hung Windows

Broken sash cords are one of the most common problems that happen with old double-hung windows. The good news is that it's not that difficult or expensive to repair them! In this Rehab Lab, you'll learn how to carefully remove your window sash and repair sash cords, ensuring that your window opens smoothly... and stays open.

Olivia Siem will demonstrate proper techniques and discuss necessary tools and supplies. This workshop will take place in an old home in St. Paul with beautiful wood double hung windows to demonstrate and practice on. Olivia will also provide a brief tutorial on re-glazing you windows. You'll leave with a hardware store shopping list and a brand new home repair skill!
