Beyond the buzzwords, this class breaks down the how and why of sustainability in homes and why old is green. In this class, Natalie Heneghan, the Community Outreach Director at Habitat for Humanity of the Greater La Crosse Region, will discuss sustainability as it relates to materials, community, and quality of life. You'll learn how old homes can adapt to change and reduce cost of living, and you'll get a thorough introduction to traditional building materials, good design, and energy efficiency.

This class is FREE with support from the Winona Community Foundation. This class is part of the Education program of Rethos: Places Reimagined. We are proud to offer a variety of classes for homeowners, students, Realtors, and others who love old buildings.
