“Live From the Cox House” Workshop Series Brings Preservation Education to Your Home

The Nicollet County Historical Society and Rethos: Places Reimagined have partnered to co-host a series of virtual building rehab workshops. During the upcoming three-part “Live From the Cox House” webinar series, historic preservation specialist Laura Leppink will teach students about assessing the condition of your home, drafting a maintenance plan, and tackling basic window and wood rot repairs.

The Cox House, a historic site managed by the Nicollet County Historical Society, will serve as a “lab” for the webinars, offering students the opportunity to see rehab and repair demonstrations on an actual historic property.
